The Team, Leagues and Competitions
We are very lucky to be able to put out a Junior team currently, and be part of the Oxfordshire Junior League, and the Golf Sixes national competition. They are fantastic opportunities for our junior section to meet and play at other Clubs and experience some real competition. Our Junior Organiser Nick Parkinson and PGA Professional Ian Campbell are always keen to welcome new faces to the squad.
Juniors are always welcome at Hadden Hill and the membership we offer reflects this. We also have our challenging par 3 course, which we hope will help both boys and girls who are new to the game to become involved in the sport.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I get golf equipment - The Pro Shop stocks a full range of junior clubs and accessories. Our shop staff will be very pleased to assist where possible, so please don't hesitate to ask for advice. We can also loan a small selection of junior clubs to you if you are just starting to play and don't have your own clubs yet.
How many clubs will I need? - You will need your own set of at least 6 clubs including a putter, and have a basic understanding and some experience of playing golf. We normally recommend all beginners take some golf lessons/attend coaching sessions with our Professionals before going out on the course. This will enable you to enjoy the game more right from the start.
How can I book a tee time for using the golf course? - Please book a tee time with the Pro Shop by calling 01235 510410, or using the members' IntelligentGolf app (IG). On arriving at the club please check-in with the Pro Shop staff so that we know you have arrived and are out on the course (in case we need to contact you).
Which tees should I play from? - On the main course, all visitors normally play from the yellow tees (men and boys) and red tees (women and girls). However, depending on your age and experience you may prefer to play from the red tees or the start of the fairway if you prefer to play a shortened course (recommended for younger players or those very new to the game).
When can I play on the main golf course? - Juniors Playing On The Course At Weekends. Juniors under the age of 14 may be requested to play after 12pm on busy weekends unless: They have a handicap of 18 or under, are accompanied by an adult or have received a proficiency certificate from our professionals. Please ensure you obey all the course notices, which are there to protect sensitive areas of the golf course and help everyone to enjoy their game.
What should I wear to play golf on the main course? - We ask for a basic standard of dress from all golfers playing our main course. This means jeans and T-shirts with no collar are not permitted. You may wear trainers although you will need waterproof golf shoes during the winter months and at other times when it is wet underfoot to avoid slipping. We strongly recommend all juniors have waterproof clothing and an umbrella for rainy days.
How do I get a handicap? - All juniors joining the club are encouraged to obtain their first handicap as soon as possible. To obtain your first handicap (up to 54) you must mark three cards, marked and signed by a club member with a handicap, or our Professional. If you have an existing handicap from another club please supply the Office with your CDH number.
What do I do if there is bad weather during my round? - As a junior golfer we advise that you do not play in bad weather such as in a thunderstorm or in foggy conditions. If you find yourself out on the course in bad weather such as a thunderstorm you must walk back to the Clubhouse or Pro Shop immediately.
Can I use the clubhouse? - You may use the clubhouse at anytime during opening hours. They have a variety of snacks, drinks and meals available to buy. We also have a drinks and snacks available to buy in the Pro Shop. Please have a change of shoes so you do not wear muddy golf shoes in the clubhouse. There is a designated Junior area upstairs on the mezzanine above the main bar.
