Every Year the Current Captain of Hadden Hill Golf Club chooses a Charity or local organisation to support. Saturday 14th February saw Pauline Drew (Ladies Captain) from Hadden Hill Golf Club presenting local organisation FUSE with a cheque for £2,600 The money was collected over 9 months by the Members of the Golf Club who every year collect for a local Group/Charity. Fuse youth group offers young people with either a learning difficullty and or physical disability an opportunity to socialise with others in a safe environment and to take part in a programme of activities. Members enjoy art and crafts, cooking, drama, music sessions, film nights and just relaxing with friends and youth workers. Members meet on a Tuesday evening at 'The Vibe' on Park Road in Didcot. The group are very grateful to the members of Haddon Hill Golf Club and particulalrly Mrs Pauline Drew (Ladies captain) for her enthusiasm and the keen interest she has shown the group. The money raised will be used to fund specialist musical instruments and for days out to activity centres that are geared up for the needs of those that attend the group.
