Ian joined Hadden Hill from Leaderboard golf centre in Reading, where he was part of Scott Cranfield Golf Academy teaching full time.

He started playing when he was 10 years old and went on to win junior and men's Club Championships at Donnington Valley Golf Club. His first job was at Basingstoke GC under the guidance of Ian Hayes, moving onto Hartley Wintney GC where he qualified in 1995.

Ian has 15 years experience in coaching and has coached from beginners up to European Tour Professional level.

Ian also still plays in the BB&O PGA Pro-ams with regular top 10 finishes and currently holds the course record at Reading Golf Club at 7 under par, gross 63.

Ian has been Resident Golf Pro at Hadden Hill since 2001. He has completed up to date Child Protection Training, is CRB checked and has the required insurance to teach as a PGA Professional. Ian assisted the club achieving the full GolfMark award in Spring 2008.
